I completely missed https://github.com/vmware-tanzu/pinniped/issues/244#issuecomment-976662101 which addresses my comment. I was also asking for an official chart for our projects but if the Bitnami chart is seen as the official chart...

We ended up setting the the service type to `None` using `credentialIssuerConfig` and creating the service outselves targeting the correct pods.
