Also, took a photo of a trail map on a hike recently to help me verify some path names, and realized later that I accidentally captured a fire station icon...

Good idea, I think this looks better ![poi_fire_station](https://github.com/ZeLonewolf/openstreetmap-americana/assets/58491489/ad29c5e7-eb6f-4312-92d5-a29b3fc9fc34) Possible the proportions could still be tweaked, but I think this is a good track! Open for input though

Rejuvenating this discussion now that some icons are beginning to be rendered (though we still lack many that are probably more important than bus stops). One possibility I've seen that...

Indeed, MSU now renders from z11 onward. In fact, I struggle to find any other university that renders at z11 now, not to mention at z10. It's hard to tell,...

Finally found myself some time to come back to this. I can see where the [diving helmet](https://www.robinsdocksideshop.com/Divers_Helmet_BP704AT.jpg) visual impression is coming from, although I can't really say I see it...

Just wanted to note here that @adamfranco's track PR implements a "guardrail"/casing approach to track bridges: https://github.com/ZeLonewolf/openstreetmap-americana/pull/717#issuecomment-1416502830. The considerations are slightly different since tracks wouldn't have a casing, but obviously...

Also, poking around in this PR has already provided some useful layering QA opportunities 😎 . I don't know if any other style correctly layers bridge areas, nice! roadway wrongly...
