I sort of referenced etags on issue #14
RHEL has this covered already through yum security last time I checked. I can't remember if apticron on Ubuntu does this already but I think it does. I'm not sure...
@stephane-martin - Is Docker part of your use case or do you still envision having a decent amount of non-Atomic CentOS machines to administer?
Might not need a DB at all, may just be able to SAX parse and check each entry
In my view, combining build tool and dependency resolution has lead to lots of scope creep for say Maven in the Java world. Keeping them separate might avoid that.

@iliabylich - Yep still an issue, although this is an enhancement being tracked for opal-rspec. I have never tried to use diff-lcs.
