I think this PR requires work but I'm open to feedback! I am using this in my own work and I would be interested in improvements you suggest.

UserId object was passed to DAL rather than a key

I changed the argument passed to be the ID property of the dynamic object UserID rather than the whole object.

Github Desktop should not use ADO PATs for authentication
