Would love to see this change merged and released. (Or perhaps I'm just not seeing it for some reason?)
Some suggestions/requests along these lines: `.cfc`, `.cfm`, and `.cfml` would use the same icon as HTML and XML files. `.jar` and `.class` would use the same icon as `.java` files....
+1 for a light version
I don't see the same issues in other themes that I sometimes use. VS Code's "Solarized Dark":  VS Code's "Solarized Light":  VS Code's "Dark +": 
Interesting; does that mean the themes like those above are either working around that somehow or using a different approach to syntax definitions?
