I'm not against, it's a minimal impact, It may lead to a lot of dead object in the storage. but this issue can be managed outside of odoo

I have tried to write 0x08 byte on register 0x08, it's accepted, but after the I2C bus and sensor are completely stuck. Need to cold restart of RAK and Sensor....

For my point of view, playing with access policy , prevent the need to have this kind of duplication.
