on band it's polar caps. Is this a curve fitting issue? 

I have the flat correction turned off. However, I see this: edge detection vs tilt, what's happening? Is the edge detection overwritten as the pixel shifts progress? 

Is the banding a rounding error artefact? I created a gif out of two, adjacent pixel shifts. Important: I scan on the RA 

I feel like I'm missing something, when trying to understand this entire issue, both the polar caps, the hemisphere-pixelshift issue and the banding.

Sure. It just surprised me that for some it scrolls and zooms, for others it doesn't, and for the detection, let me run a few more tests.

These don't work in any meaningful way. Note that the main image looks for the flash spectrum, and the cropped-horizontally-extended images were fed to JSol'Ex, that have no border. csillagtura.ro/temp/issue_392_hydrogen_dzeta_samples.zip
