vpns are paid and you can never be sure of the security of the free ones. also, vpns make the network slower and this would be a cleaner solution imo

I think as a community we should create a fork... maybe the owner of the project can't work on this anymore (too much work, issues etc..)
Hmm I agree that this is annoying. Are there any other pointers (i.e. is that fixable) or is it a purely GTK issue

I wouldn't recommend GtkFlowBox. GtkGrid or GtkGridView will be probably better.
