The error tooltip in the code editor does not stay visible

In the video attached below you will see the error tooltip come up 5 times:

• first time works as expected and only disappears when I move the mouse
• second time it flickers and disappears a fraction of a second after it appears without me moving the mouse
• third time works as expected and only disappears when I move the mouse
• fourth time works as expected and only disappears when I move the mouse
• fifth time it flickers and disappears a fraction of a second after it appears without me moving the mouse
