Indeed putting it in Wflow would also be an option to consider. We can do a refinement session but I think having a proof of concept may help making it...
Why is it error prone? Using info to warn users seems wrong. Regarding the interpolation behavior, currently we linearly interpolate $A(h)$, and this leads to a piecewise quadratic $S(h)$. See...
Yeah I think that's right. Note that $A(0.5) = 1.2$ can be correct if the reservoir walls are vertical between 0 and 1, but also if there is a slope....
@SouthEndMusic and @JohnRushKucharski will discuss the preferred option from https://github.com/Deltares/Ribasim/issues/2254#issuecomment-2829966042. I believe John indicated interpolating linearly between storages was preferred, but Bart pointed out that for the solver the piecewise...
Sounds good to me. We also need the first entry in the profile to give us the bottom elevation and area. We can validate that the first entry contains S...
I just want to add that evaporation will never be a large outflow. Piecewise constant is therefore perhaps not terrible, if that will otherwise simplify things.
I made good progress on this in https://github.com/Deltares/Ribasim/compare/main...qmd but one major downside to this is that we'd have to start worrying about compatibility between the Julia and Python ecosystem for...
As I understand, `geom` doesn't come from GDAL.jl or ArchGDAL.jl, but is a default geometry column name used by some GDAL drivers. See e.g. https://gdal.org/en/latest/drivers/vector/gpkg.html > GEOMETRY_NAME=value: Defaults to geom....
I'll first finish the state Vector, which may help here. And if that doesn't help lets try disabling FullSpecialize. Also discussed with @evetion that if all goes well we may...
Still failing at PackageCompiler creating a sysimage: ``` 15:07:01 Please submit a bug report with steps to reproduce this fault, and any error messages that follow (in their entirety). Thanks....
