Integration with OBS studio

OBS studio has a API,- and if it can read the brightness of a input it should be possible to automatically regulate the brightness of the avatar based on that.

Can you be more specific? What does "brightness of a input" mean in OBS?

Example: https://youtu.be/75WFeV4z9ck But hopefully without messing with a plugin.

The video just shows how to use a filter in OBS.

Is the suggestion to allow for adjusting the lighting in vuppr? Or is the suggestion to integrate with OBS?

If you play a game that is dark,- not a lot of light. Maybe OBS studio can read the brightness from the game,- and relay the brightness data to vpupper so it can adjust the brightness/light on the avatar. So, it's both. I know that the streamfx plugin makes it possible to do with vrchat, I don't know if it is possible to do it without.

Okay that makes sense. I would need more details on how that is implemented/need to do more research, as I am not familiar with reading the screen color from obs.
