Feature request: Toggleable accessories/items.
I think that it should be possible to turn on and off accessories like hairclips, clothes, helmets, glowing objects, objects on fire and not on fire and so on..
I have searched on the internet's to figure out if the vrm file standard supports this functionality, but no luck on finding a definite answer. It seems that it support "accessories", but there is nothing to be found on what that means.
I think that this would be a very nice feature to have.

In the official specification, I do not see any reference to "accessories".

I agree that this would be a nice feature to have.
In order to implement this on the application-side, a toggle can be added to hide a mesh. The creator of the model will need to ensure the model is composed of separate meshes, which is somewhat uncommon.
Regarding effects, custom shader support can be added or premade effects can be offered.

That would be great!
Maybe it could be possible to arrange items in groups?
Anything is possible, the only questions now are how much time it will take and who has time to implement the feature 😅

I wish I could help,- but I can't program at all. I have tried to learn it many years ago,- but I never got my head "around it".
