Hello guys, I started seeing this issue today after updating play-services to 8.3.0. Downgrading back to 8.1.0 works for now. ``` classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:1.4.0-beta3' compile 'com.google.android.gms:play-services:8.1.0' ```

@arslanashraf7 I haven't seen this issue with the progress page yet. I'd look into the [endpoint handler view](https://github.com/openedx/edx-platform/blob/e807f3e9aadd205a666d4bd3950d709121ba13ee/openedx/core/djangoapps/course_apps/rest_api/v1/views.py#L164) to check if the problem has the same cause as this one.

@sarina Redwood changed how discussions are hidden or disabled, which didn't unhide courses previously hidden on Palm.

Sorry for not being clear, Sarina. There are currently two mechanisms for hiding the discussions tab in Open edX: 1. Pre-palm, we would mark the discussion tab with the `is_hidden`...
