Redis Command echo is not working on dynomite

Hi All, Redis command "ECHO" is not working on dynomite. Is this a known bug?  I don't see any issue running this command on REDIS directly.  Please help.

Connection Timeout setting or configuration

Is there way to set Connection Timeout value when we are connecting to Redis? Please help. Thanks in advance.
