Fixes dependencies and updates for scala 2.11

The project didn't compile for me, so I had to fix dependencies. Also I added .gitignore file.

Potential stack overflow issue?

The method convertToJsValue is recursive, I wonder if it can cause stack overflow issues on big documents with many nested subtrees?
