It seems that the last commit that doesn't have the problem is: d7f95e8 With the next commit d7f95e8 (tag v0.0.10) the problems come.

My mother tong is French. If in the future you need someone to translate into French I'll be glad to do so.

It seems to me that there is an encoding problem. The new translation appear odd in the GUI after I switch to fr_FR ``` set langmenu=fr_FR let $LANG = 'fr_FR'...

I notice the same behavior with Neovim 0.9.3 and Windows 10.
