This looks similar to #77, and it appears the answer is, surprisingly, no.

I'll bump this issue a year later- I agree, the concept of disconnecting a client over UTF8 seems heavy-handed and appears to be an option suggested in the UTF8ONLY spec....

I think the changes improve the document, and appreciate the removal of the language referencing disconnection as a server option.

Thanks for taking the time to review the suggestions from #456, by removing this language I think a stronger case can be made for this being a backward-compatible implementation.
