Is it possible to generate events from a live video ROS topic such as sensor_msgs/Image?

Hi,

First of all, thanks to the contributors of this amazing repository. I went through the tutorial and successfully generated events from the cheetah video. I wanted to know if it is possible to generate events from a live ROS topic of a video stream, for example from my webcam? Would be great if I could get a response.
