The difference between the regular COSAR and the bistatic COSSC is that the COSAR is in 16-bit integer and the COSSC is 16-bit "half precision" float. Details are here: https://tandemx-science.dlr.de/pdfs/TD-GS-PS-3028_TanDEM-X-Experimental-Product-Description_1.2.pdf...

Are you using [create_kmz](https://sarpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/examples/writing.html#kmz-product-creation-from-sicd) to check for alignment in Google Earth? That is the most direct way to check whether the SICD is being projected correctly or not.

"Deskew", as referred to in that particular function, is for recentering in the spatial frequency domain, not for image domain manipulation. Since Umbra data is always centered (In SICD, DeltaKCOAPoly=0,...

Note that there is one irreconcilable difference between the current SICD spec and ALOS1, as I understand it. What I have been told by others who know more than me...

What about this? [wbvectors, nbdata]=ro.read_cphd('all', []);

If we were to do that, it seems that should hold true for all phase history formats, not just CPHD. Perhaps there should be a if exist(ro,'read_cphd') readerobj.get_nbdata = ro.read_cphd('all',...

To be clear, I'm not opposed to the new method, but I do want to work through a few issues before I accept the PR. Appreciate your patience with my...
