had same issue. enable "disable permission monitoring" in developer options. fixed it for me.
TODO: Add setting in options to respect user's choice like 'Keep fullscreen status'. Alternatively: use settings for both 'maximized' and 'fullscreen' state.
TODO: Issues with resizing. Maybe add setting in 'Resizing' options to use maximize state.
TODO: When restoring last chrome session, windows don't keep 'maximized' state.
I did a redesign of the state handling which fixes this bug. Check my pull request.
@aaron-bond This is my approach for highlighting multiple consecutive lines. I don't want to merge this because the setting and logic to enable this are missing, and there are issues...
