Pretty straight forward I think. Follows the same transition already designed for the height when expanding/collapsing. Tagging @abdulqadir93 in case you want him to sign off on the changes.

I would think the arrow keys should work like they do for a single select. But with maybe enter or spacebar toggling the selection and esc closing the dropdown.
