Do we have an idea of when the new release featuring `inputRef` will be out? Thanks.

@VldMrgnn -- did you happen to find a solution for this? I've investigated the onDrop event and tried to see if the inputRef would have data on the cursor position...

Is there an update to this? It seems like @xori and @rick-hidef solved this problem, yet I don't see it committed. Not working at all in Internet Explorer 11 renders...
