They have read and write on the system they were created on. Only read on the other one. (This goes both ways.)

The problem is the exit code at the end. Replace `exit 1` with `exit 0` and it works.

I also found that I needed to either remove the `--csl` option, or replace it with a full path to a CSL file. Not doing so made BibDesk unresponsive. Pandoc...

It's working for me now.

I prefer it that way.

I had better results adding `--pdf-poppler` to the Inkscape command.

I'm using Pandoc 2.18. I probably should have mentioned that I'm using the scholarly-metadata filter too, which is required for the author-info-blocks filter. (I will update my issue.)

@iandol Yes, that's my understanding. In the LaTeX file the `\author` is: `\author{Jane Doe\textsuperscript{1}}`.
