Running different SLAM packages like OpenKarto, Gmapping, Kimera on hector quadrotor

I want to be able to run KartoSLAM (graph-based SLAM) on hector quadrotor, what is the procedure for being able to do this? Is there any way we can run 3D SLAM like Kimera multi on hector quadrotor simulator in Gazebo?
