The panel and it's descendants are not questions and for now can'be be overriden via a custom widget. We'll investigate your case and update this thread.

I guess are you talking about the lack of Typescript defitions? Yes the surveyjs-widgets library is a puge JS library and dosn't have TS definitions. You can reference the https://github.com/surveyjs/surveyjs_vue_quickstart...

I've just checked the https://surveyjs.io/Examples/Library/?id=custom-widget-barrating&platform=jQuery&theme=default live demo on our site - it works ok for me.

Can you please implement this feature optional? Users are used to input values and I believe limit them is not a good practice.
