I don't have a Mac but I am guessing you can use ODBC Administrator to create a DSN and specify the driver, username, password, server ip,... you want to use....

I can reproduce. The query being executed is `SHOW TABLE MyViewName`, instead of `SHOW VIEW MyViewName`. Code is [here](https://github.com/Teradata/sqlalchemy-teradata/blob/master/sqlalchemy_teradata/dialect.py#L271) @stmezzo maybe you want to send a PR?
