That's what I was thinking, and posted on https://github.com/irods-contrib/metalnx-web/issues/174 The Metalnx specific query to do this metadata search may not be MySQL-compatible. Which is a bit surprising, but quite possible.

Putting this in 3.0.0, we will bump all the dependencies... along with the refactor / removal of the metalnx database.

let's leave it open and close it once templates are integrated. can bump it along until ready.

Without looking, I would guess this is a lag in the sync process of Metalnx... If that is true, this will be "fixed", mostly with... the removal of the Metalnx...
