It's rebased now, sounds good to go ahead and merge since the default value isn't expected to cause any issues during upgrade.

@hohoqq So you're suggesting Rook could do something like this? - Expose a new `subdomains` setting on the CephZoneGroup CR - Apply the subdomains as mentioned in the [comment above](https://github.com/rook/rook/issues/4780#issuecomment-1230492811)
