Ok looked at your output, your filesystems are correct mounted, then it can only be the bootloader that loads the wrong kernel from /boot
Sure if the virtio drivers are missing it cannot work with /dev/vdX then your hd is /dev/sdX, better you use UUID for your device.
Closing this, I don't think it is still valid anymore.
