it's been 2 months ... is there a workaround yet? what would be the quickest way to get this running with node 0.8.x?

I have the same problem. The Keyword detection ("alexa" in my case) is very unreliable even though I have the MicArray.

I also deactivated carrierwave_backgrounder because It wouldn't work with post-processing the files (in my case cropping/resizing of images). Would be great if this was possible with carrierwave_backgrounder

still doesn't work for me, i'm using jquery 1.8.2 the nub_height doesn't get calculated. i set it to a fixed value for now.
