We want to implement the fix or feature in the near future. We can’t promise it will appear in the next public release, but it’s on our short list.

It's marked as closed, but I couldn't find any option (in UI) to change the sorting.

Sharing the solution to all other people:

  • click on the parent document
  • inside, there will be your Linked Docs (one way or another)
  • changing the vertical order of Linked Docs will change it in the Sidebar, too
