​Broken LaTeX formatting on Linux Flatpak and Appimage

What happened?

Using the flatpak or appimage provided for affine 0.20.4 using LaTeX with standarda a-z characters reults in blank spaces, this appears both in light and dark mode and when selecting a variety of built in and custom fonts. This does not occur in the web browser version. Fedora Linux 41 using SwayWM. Reinstalling does not fix the issue nor does signing out an dsigning back in.
