@pkulchenko Thanks for investigating! One extra data point: We build [luajit](https://github.com/openresty/luajit2) for Win x64 using [llvm-mingw](https://github.com/mstorsjo/llvm-mingw), using all default settings, and it does not exhibit this globbing behavior.
