Interesting! I’m sure this was right when I first built it, so Scratch itself must have changed.
@husqwc Can you give an example of a reporter block (i.e. not a variable, list or parameter) with a very short name, that would be affected by this?
Aside: bafflingly, it looks like short boolean parameters are _right_-aligned?? I am not going to fix that one :see_no_evil:

If I understand correctly then I think you are right, you need to do this in two steps. You will want to write your own program that parses Python code...

Hey! The demo page is currently only intended for development. If you want to use scratchblocks locally, you could try cloning the [homepage repository](https://github.com/scratchblocks/scratchblocks.github.io) instead?
