This should be pretty easy to implement using fpcalc. I could take a crack at implementing it.
This easiest way to do this would be to invoke fpcal instead of using a library. But I understand if you don't want to do it that way.
The linked ruma issue is cloed now. Just wondering what the status of this is?
Creating a new playlist does write the initial song. Subsequent edits don't write to the file system as they should.
Note: I'm talking about the m3u files that are automatically created in the Music folder, not the ones created by "Save as file"
This flagged com.google.android.gms.setup as malware. I think this is a false positive.
FYI com.google.android.gms.setup isn't a system app.

Well as it goes, 2 seconds after I post this issue I see the obvious thing I'm doing wrong. All of threads were opening an writing to the **same file**....
Or does submit_and_wait do that? If so, is there a way to set a timeout?
