@gwasser thanks for responding. I did as you said. Tried deploying on a Linux host but mail still not being sent out.

Sorry for leaving out that detail. The error is gone but the emails are still not going out

Please close this issue. I think it was a python bug as @gwasser said earlier. When I updated to the latest python it was fixed but I had not properly...
