I don't believe there's anything we can do here, it depends on APIs provided from elsewhere to get that information.

Not easily in declarative pipeline, you could write a step that retrieved it though probably. The slack user ID is really built for notifying committers not the user who broke...

The error is better if you use bot user mode, have a look in the readme on how to enable it

Makes sense I think there's a few related issues. The UI here is a bit out of hand with the advanced properties, would be good if it could be made...

there's an advanced option and you can use it, it's an undocumented feature
