I have no idea how that could happen. Could you supply some steps to reproduce the problem please. Preferably in the form of an additional unit test for the project....
Nothing wrong with what you've said there, must be something in your specific dbcontext or database, I'd be interest to know what.
I hadn't considered views when I created this, and I'm not sure what should be done. Suggestions welcome.

We shall see. I'm going to leave this issue open because if ms ever finish ef7 I'll need an answer too. Also a good signpost for other folks, I'm sure...
+1 good idea. This would make it possible to add more detail to things that access the db directly. A pull request for this would be welcome. I'll hold off...
