I dont think this can be done in an offline app, I would have to add dictionaries of all supported languages that would drastically increase the app size

what app version are you using?
are those contacts stored under the "Phone storage (not visible by other apps)", or where?
right, that is an important detail as it is handled differently than the others, deleting is batched by 50 there. Ill take a look at it, people dont really delete...
isnt it higher than the screen?
