it was actually added in 3.2.0 already released 10 days ago, I just didnt write it here
at selecting the target contact source you should see an item called "Phone storage (not visible by other apps)", select that one.
ye I can reproduce your case only on an emulator, maybe Ill improve it someday. For now it isnt worth spending too much time on. Once you select a contact...
ye create a different issue for that please. Currently the contacts.db is stored at the internal app space, Im not really modifying its path.
this is just a simple testing app, it is not meant to be used as a launcher. Some real launcher might come in the future.

this wont be added in this app, maybe in Simple Launcher https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Launcher in the future
till it gets added you can already use search at the first tab, open the Edit Contact screen and add it to the group there
what app and OS version are you using?
where do you see it? Looks like a system issue, keyboards in these cases should occupy the whole screen
