not sure what you mean here, you can already quickly select favorite folders. Or you mean the ability to create multiple subfolders and not select some new folder automatically?

not sure if it wont require some internet related permission. If it will, it definitely wont be added.
ye you can long press a zip file and decompress it, the bug seems to be related to handling third party intents like this.
seems to work well in https://f-droid.org/en/packages/me.jfenn.alarmio/ and https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.better.alarm/ according to a reporter
or nevermind, those 2 apps dont even show scheduled system alarms anywhere...
