Im not sure, havent really met many people using Radicale. It seems to work just fine in the popular calendar services.
not really, such issues are actually difficult to reproduce and are system/setup specific, so basically edge cases
as mentioned previously, it isnt a priority for now as it is an edge case not happening often. There are more important issues too.
what app and OS version are you using? Are you syncing via DAVx5 or what service?
Try checking your ICSx5 settings, for example in DAVx5 for each individual account, DAVx5 allows you to change the setting for "Manage calendar colors" from (1) 'Calendar colors are reset...
will consider that in the future. Those fields arent really supposed to be too long though, they wont show up well on any view.
what events are those? I mean start/end dates and times? What app version are you using?

try creating the monthly widget and use it to launch the app to some other view
