@johnynek Would you be able to drop into this issue and include what you think is the best workaround for this problem?

This could be implemented with [Interactive Messages](https://api.slack.com/interactive-messages), where say a paper summary has buttons to "save" and "find conversations".

Turns out Interactive Message buttons can't link somewhere, so that idea is out.
