I'm not sure, I think we did this to get our runtime working, but maybe we could have fixed our runtime by dynamically loading SONAME. @otavio, what is your opinion?
Oh, also, it looks like there is a newer version of `imx-gpu-sdk` that needs to be upstreamed. That might fix the problem as well. I'll work on this later today.
The new version doesn't fix the issue. @chrisdimich, can you see if #1271 fixes your problem?
