Same here with cups 2.4.7-1.2ubuntu7.3 + cups-filters 2.0.0-0ubuntu4. And unfortunately modifying the ppd doesn't seem to work.
Is there any chance this could be implemented two fold? With either the wl-clipboard like waynergy does, or the "flatpak" compatible version using libportal? This would allow this crucial feature...
