I have another version of this code and I'm not having problems with link trigger inside the dropdown-menu.

Oops, the issue is still present in IE10- The fix coming with the above PR works fine on IE10- and I believe any other.

@IngwiePhoenix you must know that @tagawa 's solution here is mainly for dropdowns and navbar. If you are looking for something else, there is a full re-write of Bootstrap 3...

@zolyyy Bootstrap 5 rely even more on Popper and styles afaik. I think nested dropdown is the feature that cannot be implemented easily with Popper, might be the real reason...

Have you tried to test this case without web workers?
