@4lb we already have static IP assignment in network devices. We can reuse this as a component. But let's do a proper design for this.
The feature is nearly ready - but we have some real major changes in 1.3 regarding ACLs/firewall and two-way ldap/active directory sync, thus we don't want to add this feature...
