Encountered the same problem while trying to run netbox. It tried to run redis with a password using "redis-server --requirepass" but the variable is empty when its running the container...

I'm struggling with this too. ! just outputs as a box, @ returns nothing and the rest are just boxes.

Wow, it works now. For some reason, I typed exit earlier in my connected ssh session and just got back to shell. But now when I try it works. Odd....
