You don't need to do it manually. The cached packages will be saved automatically to backup location after restoring installed packages. There's no option to skip this.

I haven't looked into the new lua syntax, so I'm not sure if this change will be enough. Try making the change and see if it works.

This app is built with GTK3 and requires a desktop environment to run. To make it run without a display with require a redesign.
