Thanks for the response. Previously I created the file as root so I deleted it and created it as pi which did the trick.
Adding myself to this request. Back to using two slicers now that the XL has arrived. Really keen to only use OrcaSlicer.

I am. Had the problem today and had to restart. It's my only complaint about this OS. Still happy to test and provide feedback/logs if it assists.
I haven't had a slowdown for quite a while now. This may be fixed.
